So it was dreaded mot time again today I knew the car was pretty much good to pass apart from emissions, bit of advice if u take out the back seats take out the seat belts too I didn't even get an advisory, anyway warmed the car up chucked in some cataclean thrashed it a bit then took it to the garage, 1 hour later went to get the car and it passed but could someone make sense of the emissions test coz the co test says -0.002.

no back seats or seatbelts is not a fail or anything no. You may get a jobsworth tester that notes it in the advisories but there is no real reason why they should. ran no seats in back of couple of my cento's never had any advisories for it.

as to the negative CO reading - thats kinda impossible, i would say thats down to calibration of the testing machine although can't say i have ever looked for reasons this might happen but common sense tells you that you can't have a negative percentage of something. If there is none at all its zero %.

Yeah that's what I thought how can u get less than 0% oh well guess I was just lucky.
