Hey all

I would like to relocate my water temp sensor up to the thermostat housing  It's currently sitting down in the hose.
I read on another forum, that you could use a thermostat housing from a panda 100hp, on a Sei, which already have a temp sensor in it. Can anyone confirm if it fits the Sei? It also have a pipe on it to attach a hose, but that could just be blocked off, or is there a different housing from a fiat which has only the temp sensor?

thanks :worship:

The Black Box, did you even read my post? :-D

It's not about the sensor, but the stat housing, whether or not it fits on the Seicento head. Cause the panda 100hp stat housing already has a temp sensor in it from factory, which the Sei don't. Apart from the temp sensor and the extra hose connection, It looks to be identical to a Sei stat housing on pictures.

This is from a Grande Punto 1.2 8V. 2006 model I think?
You have to remove the extra small hose connector and blank it off.

Great, thanks! And this will fit the Seicento? It do look like it has the same fit.

I've decided to tap a thread for the sensor in the Sei stat housing instead, using a 11/32 drill and a 1/8-27NPT tap.

But I thank you for the help.

I'll take some pictures and make a small guide, to add to the guide section.
