Hi chaps.

I have a rattling manual sunroof. I've had it off the car and made sure the sprung catch lever is solid.
The only thing I can think of is that the little clip isn't holding the bevelled peg tight enough so the two main plates are vibrating.
Any ideas on how to solve it?

When you hear the rattle does it make any difference if you put pressure/push the sunroof up. I don't mean open it just put your hand on the glass and gently push? May need the hinge point packed out on the glass section, a bit of insulation tape? Or even a blob of proper LM grease?
Rattles are a pain and sometimes it's just a matter of trial and error until issue is sorted. Good luck. ?

It does! It stops when I apply upward pressure.
The hinges at the front?

Cheers pal

That would be my first look. To start try to slap a fair bit of proper grease not spray grease. Take the sunroof out if poss then slap the grease where the hinge goes into the car. The thickness and stickiness of the grease may just be enough to stop or dampen the movement/rattle.
Good luck
