Hi guys. Apologies if this post comes up a couple times as I'm having probs uploading.

Tomorrow im loking at a genuine Red Michael Schumacher Seicento 72k, service history, 12ths mot, 100% Genuine unmodified, very good condition.
So my question is.... What do those who know think it's worth? I know that's a how long is a piece of string question but just after a idea from people.
Cheers in advance.

Jason

£500-600 i would guess, prices are low even though its a limited edition.

Make sure you do a MOT history check on it, they all should be logged since 2005.

Thanks

Nathan

I sold my fairly highly spec'ed modified Schumacher with 52k on the clock £600 so I'd say yours could go from anywhere between 300-600 depend on how clean it is and the prices of seicentos have been all over the place recently one minute there fetching good money and poor money the next so it's hard to say really bet thing to do is put it on eBay with a reserve of what your willing to take and see how the auction runs

Thanks Nathan.
And are prices for them stable or increasing in value. I'm looking to keep it for a while. I've got a Cinq Sporting and this would be an addition with a view to starting a small collection.

Thanks.

I think you should ask yourself what is it worth to you

I wouldn't part with mine for anything

In time I think the value of the Schumacher will rise especially if kept standard

Well said. It's the only car I've ever regretted parting with. Tried hard to get mine (WP51 NGY) back, even the day after I traded it.

That was back in 2003. The mint, unmolested Abarth I now have has filled the gap though :D

OP, please give us the details;)

Well had a look at it. As per usual the seller missed various issues in the description. Serious red paint fade and lacquer problems on the roof and a small part of the bonnet. As well as no real service history and needs alot of general love. They want £595 for it and when pushed said that is the price, but I think if I waved £500 in cash they would take it. So I've said I'll have a think and get back to them.
Happy with the love bit as that's enjoyable but the paint work will be quite expensive.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers

I paid £495 for mine as a non runner, turned out to be the ecu that was fried purchased a second hand one complete with a lock set for £50
Also required a new fan motor, clutch, discs and pads and a fuel tank
I'm gradually working through her front to rear sorting out any problems along the way
They are very easy to work on and parts are very cheap and plentiful
Even doing all of the above hasn't put me off her and as I said earlier I really do believe they will be a collectors car given time ?

Thanks Brickfoot. Yeah I did that before I went to look at it. It all checks out mileage wise. I pinged them a txt this morning testing the water about lowest price etc. Instant reply saying £450 was the lowest they would go, I'm sure pounds notes under the nose might see it at £400.
Biggest thing will be roof/bonnet respray or maybe get replacement bonnet then spray the roof. I'm really looking to keep hold of it as it will go well next to my '97 Black Cinq Sporting. Unless anyone knows of another red MS being sold anywhere?
Thoughts anyone?

At 72k miles and 15yrs old, I would check:
No noise from wheel bearing, condition and operation of radiator fan, fuel tank is not leaking and has rust free weld seams, condition of brakes, condition of suspension arm bushes and signs of discharge from the cooling system header tank.

I sold one of my Schumacher's for £30 to the scrap man with 7 months MOT because I needed the space.
