Looks like i am needing a new battery and the old is only 45ah. As winter is coming i am thinking an ah boost is needed so it there a max ampage the seicento can take or is just get the highest that will fit?

That's for the electric Sei, which (I assume) has a larger battery tray given that it shows the dimensions as 242x175x175. Standard Sei batteries are 175x175x190 so a square base, but slightly taller. You'll struggle to fit a larger based battery in there.

To answer the OP, 45Ah is fine for use during winter.

I ran the battery from my Alfa 156 in my Cinq.
That was an 027 battery (242mm long, 175mm wide, 190mm high)

Lol, cheeky Bas****s at Eurocarparts. That LION battery £62.99 and it will cost be fuel to drive 20 miles and back to get it

I go to there ebay page and let them deliver it for free and save over 20 quid.

In the Cinq you can fit a longer battery that the 202, so more of everything including warranty with the Vartec / Bosch 5 star type.

I got the 4 star 5 years ago as I was trying to buy the 202 and they gave me the longer one instead. This time I'd get the better one, 5 star, more features and probably better resilience to my very low mileage daily driver usage.

I just bought a larger version for a neighbours Vauxhall, cheapest place was a shop in Halifax who have an on-line shop. £40 less than Eurocarparts for the same Varta 5 star, 5year warranty, battery.

IIRC, calcium in the lead, more and thinner plates, 'power grid' plastic separator between the plates prevents them buckling and touching and they make less sediment.

If your feeling like spending, there's the AGM, Advanced Glass Mat, battery which, apparently, is even more resilient.

Varta supply Bosch with batteries. Johnson Controls own Varta. Someone from China owns the majority of Johnson Controls and has moved it to Ireland for tax reduction. Johnson controls worked for a few years with a French battery company and came up with the 'power grid' and other improvements in the technology.
