I have just bought a seic 1.1 but it is overcharging? Alt was new a couple of months ago and the battery is good. Before I start stripping stuff off, what amp should the alt be, my feeling is that the new alt is for A/C car?
Read lots of posts about Haynes for seic but not seen any for sale, do I use the cinq haynes?

Use the manual in the downloads section. However, overcharging is nothing to do with whether its an A/C car or not. The regulator is at fault. What voltage are you seeing?

Hi, 15.2 amps at idle. The alternator is new as is battery?

14.8 is ideal, so you are not far away. How are the earth straps? Remove, clean and refit.

Will check out earths etc.. over the weekend. Battery light glows on cluster

Does the light come on with the ignition?
