40/40 drop, make sure the dampers match, neg camber bolts and decent tyres.

D

Thats what I was leaning towards as well, I was lucky enough to pick up set of 4 of nice 14" alloys. Friend of mine was getting rid of his from a different car and bolts displacement seems to be right for Sei. In that case tyres and alloys are on the priority list and lowering postponed till the next month unfortunately.

When I get a minute or two ill post some pictures of the car before and after :) :yum:

I have got a set of 14" alloys off a VW Polo. The bolts fit but the wheel is rubbing. I'm not sure if I read it right but alloy says "OFF 45". There is a 185 tyre on it right now. So my question is what spacers do I need to get and would 50mm profile look good?

Bolts shouldn't fit as vw are 4x100 and your cento is 4x98 so 2mm difference! Likely to either work loose or knacker seats on the alloys or both. So whilst they may 'fit' it just isn't correct and fairly dangerous also I'd suspect centre bore isn't correct?

So offset is et45. Your cento offset is et27.5. Standard alloys are et30 but use a 3mm spacer upfront. So you probably want a 15-20mm spacer to correct and get it to the correct offset.

185/50/14 is what quite a few run and a539 are available in that size

So I'm actually quite confused right now because I went down to the garage to check it for me. The alloy went right in and fit with the center bore?

It's an aftermarket alloy not manufacturer

In that case it may have a large oversize centre-bore and need centring rings to get the correct 58.1mm.
The bolts will need to be wobbly bolts. DO NOT use the std bolts.

Perfect, I really appreciate your advice. Is there any specific length I need to buy for wobbly bolts or is it one size fits all?

And the rings are separate from the spacers or if I buy the spacers with bigger center bore it will be fine?

You may be able to get custom made spacers with different inner & outer centre-bore sizes, but usually you get the centring rings and use the normal spacers for the car.

Length of wobbly-bolt will depend on the wheel and spacer used.
Thread is M12x1.25
Probably a taper seat, but you'll need to check the wheels as VAG often have radius seat bolts.

How can I check what centring rings I need to get? I mean that I know I need to get 58.1mm radius but how can I check what is it at the moment?

I'm starting to think that there is no point using these alloys, It's gonna cost be around 250 euro to get tyres, spacers, bolts and rings..
