Hi,

This evening i was asked if i had some arch covers as fitted to Cinq Abarths

They pointed out the ones which come with this (non genuine) kit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-CINQ...866999?hash=item2eec3c3f77:g:zngAAOSwx-9W03i4

Apparently they were factory fitted but often fall off or are taken off

I have found one picture which looks like it has some on
Fiat_Cinquecento_Abarth.jpg

All the other pictures on Google seem to show Abarths without them

Also the the car featured in the Abarth catalogue of the time doesn't have them

Are they original fitment?

What do you think?

I dont think they were original fiat extras but I might be wrong.

I recall that photo and i suspect it's photoshoped. I recon its the factory wing with either paint or Photoshop work making it look like wide arches. Why would you make your paint job look so nice and fail to mask the front bumper?

I suspect the wide arches were Horman body kit parts our something?

One of my cars even had original fiat dealer headlight covers until they got broken by a tree...

that pic isn't 'shopped, thats a car of a member on here years and years back..

no never heard of abarth arches either, hormman made 2 different sets of arch extensions, narrow and wide versions but they don't make them now, moulds got damaged and they hardly sold any so they didn't make replacement moulds.

I was also looking into this because mine has an abarth kit with light covers I brought after but I don't think the arches are original. But does anyone have a set of the pedals.

Lester is an Italian company
They do all sort for the cinquecento
