Does anyone have a recommendation for remapping my 1.1l ecu to increase the fuelling?

Is there someone in the South East?
I am trying to avoid a piggy back or ECU swap out, as I want to keep the install clean.

what exactly do you want to do by remapping? you mentioned increasing the fuel. you can just wind the fpr up a bit if that is all you want.

stand alone would be the best bet.

I have had a lot of work done to my 1.2 engine and to say it is flowing a lot more air would be an understatement. It pulls fine to 4000 then low fuelling starts to make the engine waffle until the ecu finally goes into a panic at 6000 and then opens the injector full bore to protect engine from detonating.
Was trying to avoid a piggy back or stand alone as I was trying to keep the car's "original" look.

You can rip the guts out of a standard edu and fit a stand alone inside if you get one that is the right size to fit. Will give you the look you are after.

I would check your fuel pressure as it could be on the low side already. You could then try turning it up to see if that helps.

Have you checked the fuelling with a wideband or are you just assuming it's fuelling due to the way it is running?

Good thinking about reshelling the new ecu.

Have metered the fuel and it backs up our gut feelings. The fuel pressure is good as it happily over fuels to protect engine at higher revs. It seems that the engine is now just flowing outside the fuel map curve above 4k.

Don't bother doing all that work and spending all that money when you could sell an put that money towards something faster and mod that.why don't you get a 1.4 grand punto tjet or bravo tjet 120 or tjet 150.that's if you want to stay with fiat.buy the way the tjet engines are not fiat anymore they are alfa romeo mito engines with different variations.
You can pick up either of them up for reasonable price nowadays and you would be

What do you mean by alot of work to your 1.2? Without a remap I've reached nice Hp and torque..

Here a remap cost 225-300 euro

Is it worth it for few hp.. I doubt it.

just because the mito uses the engine does not mean its now an alfa engine, fiat do own alfa romeo you know.

google Fiat Powertrain Technologies

To be blunt, I am not looking for more HP, the issue is that the engine configuration is now so efficient that it is flowing outside the map on the standard ECU. The car is running like a diesel now. With the current weight of the internals and level of balance and work done this engine should easily be able to red line and more, but it simply over fuels over 4K to protect the engine.

Seriously, if I wanted faster car I would drive something else in my garage. I certainly wouldn't buy a fiat or alfa for that.
This car is a hobby and challenge. When it is on song it is one of the sweetest most complete cars I have ever driven. The fun is getting it to be an even better experience, not just more power or faster. The same car but 'more'.

Hey pal. Did you change the cam? Did the ecu accommodate for it?

I'm also building a 'race' spec 1242 for my mpi Sei and I'm after mapping advice also.
I'm using a 283deg Catcam and +50cc injectors.
I was hoping the standard ECU could be hooked up to a laptop.
