Right I've done some digging and I know it don't fit with me having abs but..
is there anyway of making it fit around the abs without removing it

I've got a mk1 punto 75 engine in so it should clear the bob on that

But I've also read the ecu might possibly be in the way?

So if anyone's tried it and successful got if fitted let me know cheers james
 
Hi,

I fitted an OMP SPI strut brace to my MPI schumacher which also had ABS. All that was required was a slight trim of the ABS bracket. Which I did insitu. The standard airbox won't fit tho, but if you have a bob it will clear.

Having said that my MPI schumacher had the micro ECU which is tiny and mounted in the front of the engine bay nowhere near the strut brace. However I know later MPI's had a different ECU so they may be mounted where it would foul.

EDIT, ah I see you have a schumacher too, it should be fine assuming you are still using the orginal ECU!

And another cheeky one would you happen to have any pictures of it fitted?
 
Sorry no, this was about three years ago, when I had my schumacher, I am not sure I have any pictures of it!
 
It does go on with some minor mods to the ecu bracket and and pump bracket
