Hello everyone,
my roof bars got left outside for longer than is wise, attached to the roofbox. I now need the bars but the clamps have had it. They were plastic coated and rain has got in and it's all come off. I need to repaint them with something that won't damage the car paintwork and I wonder if anyone had done something similar and could recommend what to do. I have found peelable spray paint which looks like it might do.
Or would I just be better to get them re plastic coated? If so how much would it cost approx for the four clamps?

I'd get them powder coated if they were mine....then perhaps use your peelable spray afterwards

+1 for powder coating, would probably only cost £10 for those 2 little bits.
