This is my cinq which I have shown before on the forum but just wanted to show what have been doing lately. If you guys have any tips please share. This is how it first looked like.

I am now up to this stage

I also have a few bits to go on already put on the new alternator and starter motor, nice box of bits and bobs.

Looking really good what manifold is that?

Also made the valves nice and shiny, was surprised on the amount of crap on the valves to be honest.

The manifold is a supersprint manifold, you can get it from dc performance

The manifold is a supersprint, very nice and smooth inside with much bigger ports which allows head porting to an extant, which allows more power gain

Next I have ported out the head and inlet manifold. The exhaust ports went from 23mm to 27mm wide and the inlets all went up by 2 mm

I have just got the head back on the car had it skimmed, we cleaned up the block along with the tops of the pistons and water ways. Next is cam shaft waiting on an oil seal should be going in tonight.

Next up my silicone hoses came from Flexeo yesterday they are great, I ordered them on Monday and they got to me Friday tracked dpd. They are perfect all I had to do was cut a section out of one pipe to put the bleeder into the heater pipe. They will be going on today.

What do we all think, all that needs to go on is cam belt air intake and some water based stuff. The supersprint is on and the rocker cover.

I have just finished it all up and started the engine for the first time since it all came apart, (full exhaust not connected) the car started right up no problem not even a wait whilst it turned over it went fine sounded very loud obviously with just a supersprint on. But not the engine is done and looking good running good. Just a quick note if you get the flexeo pipes keep both the original bleed valves as they don't come in the kit just to let you know.

Also I’ve done the rear disc conversion and the test fitting the new wheels.

Are you using narrow Cinquecento/Panda front discs with the standard bearings or have you swapped pins so you can use the Punto GT bearing and discs to widen the track?

I’ve used all standard cinq bearings on the back and the calipers are from a Punto hgt

As for the wheels being to wide I’m going to have them shaved on the inside to try to bring them in a bit and if anyone has any other ideas please throw them my way
