Hi

Just after some advice if possible. My son has a 52 plate Seicento S 1.1 and needs a new clutch. I rang my local motor factors to get a price and was told there is a possible 4 clutches to choose from. Is there any way of identifying which one is needed?

I recently got him a inner driveshaft boot and was told by Fiat that he has the uprated gearbox (inner drive shaft boot with bearing)

We have had the car on a ramp to see if we could find any identification marks on the box but no joy.

I would take it to a garage but have been quoted a minimum of £260, double than what he paid for the car, so he has it booked in at his college for Friday.

Thanks in advance for any info.

You need to know which gearbox you have fitted as two types of clutch available. One is for a dry shaft C514 and the other for a wet shaft C529. It sounds like you have the C529 if you fitted a new inner drive shaft boot with the bearing.
