being new to the forum this is my first thread,
My daughter has just bought a 1.1 sporting Seicento 2002, the wiper motor would only work in fast speed, I have checked out the connector & when the switch is moved to all the positions the power moves on all the terminals so is working all ok, so I checked out the wiper motor & the terminal blocked was all ok, undone the 2 allen key bolts & pulled the electric motor apart & noticed that 1 of the 3 brushes was not pushing against the commutator,
I removed the end cap pulled out the spring & pulled out the brush, checked it went back in smoothly & turned the spring around the other way & put it back together & it is all working now on delay, slow fast & when I move the washer stalk in all positions it does what its meant to do, I had checked out previous threads & thought it odd that this seemed to be a problem noted before, all it took to fix was to check the inside of the electric motor, all good now, might help others look a bit deeper at this!
