I'm planning to get a cento and do an engine swap and tune. I'd planned on getting a cinquecento, firstly because I like it more and secondly because it is lighter. Finding a sporting is proving to be quite tricky, so I'm wondering whether the sei is the way to go. Where is the extra weight in a Sei? Is it bolt on stuff or is it in the shell?

Power steering always used to be sited as being additional weight. Some had air con. I'm not sure there is much in it really. Having had both, the sei is a little slower probably due to plastic inlet mani and milder 4x4 camshaft.

The rear headrests are quite heavy and the front fog lights can be ditched although they only weigh about 350g...
