Seicento Sporting Spi yr 2000

Nice day today so decided to put new rear springs on my Sei.
Struggled and fought trying to get the first one on till I realised that
the internal diameter of the new spring was smaller than the old
and it wouldn't seat properly over the top rubber mount.....:bang:

So, back on with the old spring and a few choice curses.....
New spring internal diameter is 82mm (didn't measure the old one) but
it's a good clearance fit over the rubber mount....

Anybody got a standard sporting rear spring they can measure for when I
order another pair...
Number of coils was OK and the length was OK...what a pain
