It is the later model. Being only a year old.
I'm not sure about fitment, however super sprint are very approachable by email. They were very helpful when Gazella let me down. Hence the six month wait for it.

New 1.1 manifold will not fit a 1.2. Not even certain the old ones did? Why would SS change the design?

You're right it will only fit a 1.1 sporting unless you relieve the sump by about 5mm
