2 clubs i am a member of, wolverhampton and South staffs and Owen are running their respective annnual autumn production car autotests in october and november.
both great fun, very reasonable entry fees and well organised.
anybody fancy a go ? - would be nice to have a couple of seicentos to compete against.

Cannock and District also have their all forward auto test on in November. We have entered the Owen (we are members) event and the C&DMC ones in the Cinq.

Wasnt sure of c&dcc date, but i shall do that one as well. Very well run last year i thought.

only 9 places left on Owen event, Cannock is full.

Anybody fancy some fun? - think 2 of us are doing it in Seicentos

Don't worry about damage - unless you are particularly violent with your clutch the worst you will get is a little tyre wear

Turned out to be a great event. A full day of nice flowing tests with plenty of fast sections and handbrake turns and my 15 year old daughter also drove in the Seicento , and for her first event I was really impressed.
She was fearless and only spun off once but made a jammy recovery and ended up facing the right way travelling in the right direction.
All that after onlt 20 minutes of instruction on a local industrial estate.
Cant wait for the next one on 8th November, but its already full so I cant invite anybody now
My only complaint about the Seicento is lack of power.
I would love another 25HP to let me keep up with the Micras, other than that it was great fun , handled very well (especially on Yokohama A539's - their first time used on dry tarmac since taking delivery of them off Lecook last year) and ran faultlessly despite the abuse.

Hi Citds

Unfortunately the entry is full, but you could email Will Barnes at cannock and district moror club and see if there's any cancellations - sadly unlikely as its one of the most popular autotest events run at Curborough
Feel free to turn up and watch - theres loads of space to get a good view of the action - or you could volunteer to marshall if you want to get even closer
think theres 2 seicentos doing it - mine and Will's - come and have a chat at lunchtime, you never know, you might get hooked and enter the next one at Christmas - a warning though - its highly addictive

Thats me beaten then, i'm running a bog standard jobbie and need more HP, but i'm only in it for the fun factor to be honest

power is nothing without control.

We haven't tried anything like this before so we will probably spend most of the day picking cones out of the front grill.

Wise words
im sure you will love it
I always have the lowest powered car but aim to finish mid table.
There will be plenty to talk about im sure
You should have had the final instructions today and surprisingly the test diagrams which ive never known before
