Hi everyone.

After abit of advice if possible please.

I have just ordered some rear Lowering springs for my fiat seicento 1.1 2001 but not sure if they are the correct ones or me just being daft ha.

My old springs (standard red painted ones in picture) as same diameter top and bottom where as the Lowering springs are smaller diameter at one end and doesn't seem as if they will fit??

Hope you can help.

Thanks

They don't look like they'll clear the bump stop, the larger diameter of the spring needs to sit in the arm at the bottom. I'm not sure they're 'cento parts either.

That doesn't look right mate. I have a 2001 Sei Sporting and I bought a set of Apex springs from Camskill. Never took a photo of the fronts but they weren't that compact, but here are the rears, bearing in mind it was the Apex 30mm lowering springs.

I did buy them off eBay which said they off a cento but obviously not its seems

These yellow ones won't fit.
With some luck they are front springs, but definitely not rear ones!

(all) The rear lowering springs on an sei are straight. Just like the original but shorter/compress more.

So I fear you must ask for a refund/RMA them...
Good luck!

am probably wrong, but shouldn't your spring be other way?

Yes they should!

You guys sure? Driving arround like this for 2 years no problems. :bang:
What difference will it make? Or what would be the explanation for turning them "arround"?

edit: I found two things already.
1) Dirt accumulation because you create a tube.
2) Something about unsprung weight and sprung weight.
--> using these theory, indeed the rings that are closer to each-other should be UP.

On the other hand does it really matter for street use?
