Had the same problem looking for a Soleil here in Holland. Half the roofs didn't work and I figured the other half were probably ticking time bombs... I think the Webasto 400 roof is similar and fits but is hugely expensive. In the end, I bought a regular Cinq 900 and I've sourced a Britax Sunway 30x36 roof (it came from a Sporting). Being manually operated, there are no motors or cables to break or jam. I plan to fit it in my car. The headlining is shot but that's not too tricky to replicate (sewing in straight lines). You could try finding this type of roof on ebay or something. It's the same size opening. I'll post my story once I've fitted it. Here it is still in the donor car:
