Hello, I am new up here. I am planning to put an induction kit for seicento with 1.2 8v punto engine so I can have some extra power, any ideas what induction kit can I put as the engine is different and not sure whether a seicento induction kit would fit in? Thanks

You're car is fitted with a MPI air filter box -so i'm assuming it's an MPI.... the 'bob' in the dexcraft ad is for an SPI engine!
When you are old enough to drive this car on the public highway (assuming at some stage you pass a driving test) you will find out it's not how much power a car has but a combination of driving skill & how much power you can put down that makes the difference. You could have a 400bhp engine but if the tyres are cheapo budget items you'll only end up in a ditch, same goes for the suspension -how knackered are the suspension bushes/shock absorbers. Also how healthy is the engine? when did it last have any attention? -oil, plugs, belts, shims etc.
Forget the HP bull-crap talked about by the boy racers & their magical bolt on gizmos & concentrate on getting everything up to scratch. People like their little Fiats not because they have lots of horse power but because they can punch above their weight & put larger more powerful & expensive cars to shame.

Yeah very true, got test this week btw so should be alright :D also I'm not happy with the body all around the car, it has some scratches and dull yellow which looks horrible. What can I do to get a nice yellow back? Also before MOT I will change front brakes into Brembo ones and think about the suspension as well.

Mati I don't know how old you are but thinking you in your teens ? How are you going to afford the insurance on this ? Engine swap air intake brake swap .I can barely afford my 899 cinq with a cold air intake lowering springs and alloys (sporting )

Don't worry about that, I earn enough of money to cover the insurance, petrol money etc and the money for myself so it's all good. Today I bought this k&n cold air intake, I got the sport exhaust and just need to put it all together. Also I got full stereo which I need to put it in my car soon.ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1430754272.601639.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1430754287.774634.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1430754300.167318.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1430754205.564061.jpg. That dexcraft induction kit is what is going on my cinq but that one is for an spi i am assuming that you sei is an mpi, if it is go on the dexcraft website and they do, do a mpi kit as well.

I like K&N, or should i say i like the replacement filter

Some on here have found that the bolt on imitation elephant ***** (Fiesta style induction kits) have cause issues with higher induction temperatures so it will be interesting to find out how good the Apollo is.

Buying rattle cans of Fiat Broom Yellow paint can be interesting (paint code 258) - some retailers sell a version that is a much paler yellow
so just get one untill you're sure it's the correct shade.

That must be one hell of a paper-round :p :ROFLMAO:

But really I don't want to paint the car, I want to get the colour back but also don't see the scratches I got on the car.

Rattle can & a fine paint brush to fill deep scratches- if it's covered in fine swirly scratches chances are someones used T-cut, it was common practice when i were young & dinosaurs roamed the planet (T-cut is far too abrasive & there are much better products available now). Paint refinishing is an art in itself & there are whole websites dedicated to this.... so Google it.

I got it when I bought the car, the induction from eBay so it's all good.
