hey umm is there a better steering wheel preferebly from another car (dont want to mess around with boss kits) that will directly fit to the cinquecento sporting??? i think the original is flimsy as a wet turd.......maybe a punto wheel is what im thinking pleaselet me know asap as mine bends alot and i find it quite unsettling.

thanks

By "Faffing" you mean "I don't want to pay for a Boss kit as well as wheel", Don't you?

Because Physically, there's no more "faff" fitting a boss kit than there would be a different wheel, it's more or less an identical job except it gives you freedom to fit any wheel you fancy later down the line.

Fwiw, i count my omp rally wheel as the best mod i ever did to mine :) It's definitely the mod i'd recommend if you are swapping wheels.

Anyway, punto wheels, i "think" they have a different spline on them so don't match up. There may be some Alfa wheel that fits, but tbh finding one that fits will be more "faff" than getting a Boss and having your pick of aftermarkets.

unfortunetly i may have toscrap the car as the rusty rear wheel well and arch has spread into the boot rear seats and it looks terminal......i dont want my baby to die :(

Rust on a cinquecento, I don't believe you.

Get welding sunshine. There aren't many of these little cars left.
I have welded loads on mine, come mot time next year I shall have to weld more again.
If nothing else, you're welding will improve.

yh this is where it gets hard cz i dont know how to weld nor do i own a welder i did however find a complete floor pan for a sporting im consiering buying it butstill got to find someone who will weld it on the cheap hun :/ i love this lil car and dont want it to go to car heaven. i was thinking it might becheaperto buy another shell but like you say its gna be hard finding one thats not rusty xx

If you can't fix it sell it please don't scrap it :'( I found a tiny hole in my arch today same as you and now my rear bumper won't come off ...I'm not gonna scrap her ..its part and parcel of having a 25 year old car

well i found another shell wich apparantly is rust free!!!! i have plans for this car involving a haybusa engine somewhere down the line. so i dont want to part with it unless i absolutly have to. my wheel well is literally nonexistent and the rust is in the boot and spreading internally down the side panel. everything else is sound. so unfortunetly the mods will hv to wait now lol
