Hi ,i have Seicento 1.1 2002 sporting was running last night went to it this morning and will not start is this fuel related ,checked plugs there are dry , i take it pump is in tank . Could it be ther relay thats not working ? Which one ? If so what direction should i go in for a good diagnose. Car has been running well upto this point ... Any ideas please.. Raff

Hi,
1st - check to hear if pump ( under rear seat) runs when turning on ignition

2, does the keycode immob. light go ON.. then OFF

3, should be a fuel cut-off switch ( under pass seat)

Crank angle sensor maybe - IF it's not one of the above:eek:

Started off correct there ;)

However.. the fuel inertia cut off switch is usually mounted to the bulk head in the centre floor/passengers footwell to the right hand side of the clutch arm/cable cover

First thing i would do is check for fuel and spark, usually as stated above if the crank sensor goes it cuts the prime when you turn the key aswel as any fuelling or spark

Id suggest if the immob is clearing and the engine is turning over then id say the most likely problem would be the cps, there really isnt alot that would stop these engines running.. all be it theyd run badly.. but you can unplug most sensors and still have the engine running...

so at the front of footwell , where the "transfer rod" goes from RHD pedals to LHD holes in Bulkhead., :confused:
only had the 1 Cinq = zero Sei's:eek:
