hy....
I have a problem with my seicento sporting(1998) with AC. Whenever he decited, he start to blocking the engine ( he is not accelerates when I add gas) and then he work normaly...
I changed the spark plug on the motor and cables but not in this problem. I changed the sensor in air filter plastic and it was better but not for long... sometimes he works perfect and sometimes it dosent.... I need some help.... This is my second seicento sporting and I love this car but I have no idea what could it be... P.s.: car has 140000km

Hi, & welcome from the UK
Hesitating on acceleration can be caused by lots of different things the problem is finding out which one :(.... is the engine management light on when the engine is running?
A common problem would be bad fuel or a fuel blockage -when was the fuel filter last changed? Is there any rust or rubbish in the fuel tank? Have you tried cleaning the injectors?

the car I purchased 2 months ago, has taped over control light for battery, it still burns and I didn't find problem jet.... is it posible to have something in common? fuel tank looks ok,

I intend to change fuel pump (i didn't find time jet). I don't know when was any servis done, because I don't have servis book. The guy just told me that car didn't have servis in 100000km so I intend to do it...

Before you change the fuel pump, I would take ouby's advise and replace the fuel filter. Also the air filter, oil, and oil filter. If it had a service at 100000 and it's now at 140000 that's is a long time to go without fresh oil etc.

I would not change the fuel pump unless you have had the fuel pressure tested & the pump is dying.
Find the fault first & buy the things you NEED to buy, don't waste money on things that are working in the hope of finding the problem. It can work out very expensive that way :(
Google Translate is not perfect, some things you are trying to say don't make much sense translated into English.

yes, my helper is google translate, so sry for mistakes =P at home I have crashed seicento and i have all the parts, so i won't throw money away...

You're English is better than my Slovenian, I am getting most of what you are on about.

You say the battery light is on, does the alternator charge the battery? Does it start ok? I am wondering if the engine management is running on too low a voltage.

Before doing anything else, start with the easy and cheap things first. You have already changed leads and plugs, so fresh oil, air and fuel filter. Then come back and tell us how you get on (y)

Ok. I order the fuel filter online so it should be at my house in 4days, i will change the oil filtr and oil and then i will report to you how is he doing :)

hy. so I change the fuel filter, but it is still the same... so next I will change oil filter and oil.... any other ideas?

I replace the fuel pump, inector under air filter,..... the car doesn't work any batter....

Or may be somewhere miss connection on "earth wire" if previously shows an battery light?
That will also call lack of power....
I will check that out on sunday.... I didn't check that out yet...

Start with the earth points on the wiring under the bonnet, such as the ecu, the loom has several earthing points around the engine bay, mainly on the inner wings. Clean them all and make sure there is a good connection.

Petroleum jelly on the surfaces helps prevent corrosion.

Why is the battery light on? Have you investigated that fault?

Thanks for idea, I will check the earth points.... I didn't find anything about the battery light.... It looks like it is broken, because the light is not the same brightness anytime... sometimes it is lighter and sometimes is darker.... And again sorry for my bed English =P

In this case power regulator which is fitter to an alternator is damage.
That's mean sometimes does not charge enough the battery and sometimes nothing at all.
You're lack of power becomes also due to battery condition when is uncharged enough.
Best???
Check by multimeter an alternator charge once engine is running without load and under load.
Voltage should be around 14V.

Hy.. I had a lot of work.... My alternator turnd off so I had to get it fix, then 1 week later, strap on alternator was damage (I suppose it was mahanic fault)... I upgrade the engine (cylinder head(cup),camshaft(cup),computer upgrade(cup chip), and I add sport filter) :slayer: the difference was significantly better... not so much with top speed (cca. 20km/h), but accelerations are 2x better than original sporting... :worship: I worship my little rocket :worship: P.s.: In about a month I will get som new stickers for my car and then I will add some pic...
if anyone has another idea for my problem, please let me know ...

This may sound like a daft idea.... but have you checked the accelerator cable is moving freely ALL the time
As your Sei normally accelerates as expected but sometimes doesn't i'm wondering if the cable is catching sometimes.
