I bought this today


It has these leather seats



The headrests have the Abarth logo embossed

It is an MPI car but these have the headrest style from the SPI ie separate cushion

Has anyone seen ones like this before?

They are factory quality but i've never seen them before

Saw that one on ebay. You got it at a good price, especially looking at the condition of the bodywork and the extras. You're probably going to break it instead of fixing it though?

I've personally only ever seen one cento with the leather interior. It was on the forecourt of a local garage and I stopped to have a look. This one had rear headrests as well. Managed to get a quick picture.



I asked Todger if he'd ever seen one with a factory spec leather interior, we thought it was a euorpean extra, probably very pricey for the cost of the car.

Looking at the shape of the front headrests in your car and lack of rear headrests, they'd be from an SPI sei and the grey/black ones in mine were on an MPI sei, hence the rear headrests and the shape of the fronts.
So has the previous owner of your car fitted the interior himself, doubt you'd spec a red interior in a yellow car. Also looking at the other SPI car i linked above, you can see it doesnt have any rear headrests and the fronts are SPI as well.

But then why would it have the abarth logos embossed on the headrests? hmmm

Having the abarth badge on the headrest mirrors where SPIs had them so if this was optioned on an abarth maybe they did that?

They are just like the ones in the black SPI

That leather one linked to is mine. They came from a cinquecento which according to the previous owner was one of 500 built

jatkinson has red leathers in his imola cinq, the red ones linked are definately cinq seat however the rears are splits... which i believe only came in the mpi sei?? or possibly only in seis in general ( i cant remember whether my old sei had splits or single piece) they look pretty smart though... not as nice as the full red leathers in james's cinq imo but im sure someone will pay silly money for them..

Also red seatbelts! I think these seats are a European option. The only thing i can see which differs (to the black one) is the rear seats split

I think they look alright in a yellow car. Easily as good as blue anyway

I had red/black SPI seats in my car, they were split seats. No rear headrests in the back of SPI Sei's.

seats bought by myself and hopefully will be fitted in the next week into my red sei .woo hoo

thats the seats arrived in scotland waiting to be fitted ,jiminwatford or James was simply superb at sorting everything out and am well chuffed so deffo a person to buy from.nice 1 cheers James
