Hi people im a new 98 cinq sporting owner and my car has developed a intermittent fault where the injector light comes on and the car stutters this seems to happen more so when cruising and lasts for about 2-3secs then clears and happens about every five minuted the car has no running issues and starts on the button im thinking this could be the coil packs or crank sensor was wondering if anyone on here has had this problem and where I could start checking first cheers

I would check the crank sensor first as it is a common problem with cinq/sei.

Code read would help. IAW Scan 2 (free) leads and laptop. Or more details:

Revs, load, hot/cold, throttle opening, etc.

To me, doesn't sound like classic TDC sensor issue.
