Only just started to do this, when I drive the car and the engine is stone cold,it seems to be a bit hesitant when pulling away from junctions etc, when the engines warmed up it drives perfectly.

I was thinking it could be down to the throttle position sensor but then again it would be doing it all the time.

The cars a 2000 x reg, with the square air box, (Can't remember which ones spi or mpi)

Any help would be appreciated

If its only ever doing it when completely cold first thing i would try is testing (or for the price of them just replacing with new) the coolant temp sensor. Blue, on side of inlet manifold.
