Can i use new version of chip2race chip on my seicento sporting 1.1 MPI?

2014 NEW CHIP VERSION
1. will add 3-7 BHP with an induction kit and no CAT
2. will make the car much more stable all along the rev .
3. increase torque up to 10nM
4. faster 0-60 (up to 1.3 sec less)
5. will make the engine more powerful
6. remove flat spots while speeding

It's a small car but it puts a big smile on your face ;)

You can change the chip on a SPI Seicento.... you have a MPI.
If you're looking to improve performance use the 'Search this Forum' function to find out how to do it.

Unless you want to do an engine swap the best improvements for the money you can make are....
Slightly bigger throttle body - https://www.fiatforum.com/members/sparky5/ can sell you one.
Improve breathing by fitting a focus style induction kit, or much better in my mind -fit a standard K&N air filter & modifying the airbox & inlet pipe (I can send you a picture of an 'improved airbox' if you want).

Duffish: full length leccy roof was an optional extra on all MPI Sei's. There's a SX with one on eBay at the moment but i've never seen one on a S.

I just read about bigger throttle body thing...(very interesting)
I'll probably contact sparky

And yes, I'd like to see a picture of an 'improved airbox!

Totally custom intake I made for my 1108 sx Sei.

This was a great upgrade I owned briefly, find one and be prepared to shell out the cash. Very Rare NoviTec Carbon Fibre intake filter housing.

As promised the pictures of the airbox i modified. It's been gas flowed, all internal ribbing removed or cut down, the height of the paper filter retaining side walls reduced & three 1/2" holes drilled in the front (all as per Mini standard airbox modifications).
.... don't forget Fiat are not idiots- they have built one or two cars in their time ;) & the internal ribbing is there to stop the case from warping over time due to the heat from the engine/manifold. It was my intention to construct a heat shield to fit underneath the case to lessen the possibility of warping but i had a change of plans when a 40mm throttle body came up at a extremely low price so i didn't get around to making one.

Throw away the standard paper filter & fit a K&N replacement (& a service kit)- it costs a lot but will last longer than the car will.
Pretty sure this is the one you want, but you need to check the measurements

Lastly throw away the rubber inlet hose (it's too narrow & the ribbing ruins airflow), use a larger diameter smooth hose, it's your choice if you have the inlet in the engine bay as per the NoviTech, or use the original hole in the front panel -it's the best place for cooler STILL air, that's why Fiat placed it there.

Today a TB package arrived :)

Sparky did a perfect modification

I will show the results of upgrades when I'm done testing.
(TB40mm + K&N + Remus)

I need a chip to remove the immobiliser from my spi ECU but mcrich isn't doing them any more, will these chip2race chips work? Also my ECU has a soldiered in chip, what ones are not soldiered.

Thanks
Dan

You need an immo disabling chip (to use the ECU in multiple cars for example) or do you need to have the immo removed once because you are changing the car or immo code box? For the latter you simply need somebody to do the magic with your ECU, try user reddy4bed (I can do it too, but not with a soldered in chip). If you need the first, I can make such a chip (not tuned though, only immo disabled), but I'd need to know a couple of details from you, pm me. And you would have to deal with the desoldering yourself.
