Hail the guys at Revolution! Got some Apex springs and a Magnex Backbox on order, delivered in a couple of days! waiting to see what it's going to sound like. Can't fit the springs yet as i'm waiting for a bit of help to fit them, but overall i'm pleased the way things are starting to come together for my motor!

The K&n arrived at long last but the fixings were missing. one swift call and the fixings are on their way along with an ITG oil breather! Can't be bad.

how low will the springs take your car?
had a magnex on my last cinq sounded just right.

got a cinq

Supposed to be 30mm but everywhere else i've seen them advertised, they claim a 40mm drop. Will have to wait and see

hi,i dropped my cinq 90mm! was very aprehensive about going that low as on my previous cars i've usually went about 40mm but as the cinq's suspension is about as high as a landrover i thought i'd go for it. handles like a go kart now and surprisingly is still quite smooth not as harsh as i'd thought it'd be.

i have some photos but not digital any way how can i get photos onto the forum? i'm running on 14's with 195/45/14 tyres not had any rubbing probs but then again the standard cinq ride height is almost the same as a land rover so dropping the cinq 90mm isnt too bad, still have a gap between the tyre and arch but nowhere near like the way it was!

yep! fair enough it is a bit bumpy on certain roads, but my girlfriend doesn't moan at me about it so it can't be that bad!!! when you look at my car it's obviously lower but it's only when you put it next to a standard sporting that you really notice the difference! on standard you can easily fit a clenched fist between tyre and arch with some space to spare with mine tho you can just get your fingers in! like i say i'll e mail some pics to brickfoot on sat!

My m8's cinq is very low 2 we have no idea how low tho as he got it like that but the back wheels r well into the arches and the front u can't get a finger between tyre and arch B)

gonna do the photos today! you can get the springs from peter maiden components, www.petermaiden.co.uk, thats where i got my backbox and springs,they sell the springs in two sizes 40 mm drop or 90mm i went for 90. handles lovely even with the 195/45/14's on it!

Don't get me wrong it's a nice car, but that doesn't look like -90mm to me. Mines a -40mm drop and looks lower:

i know it doesnt look as low as you'd think but we measured it before we fitted the springs then two weeks later and it had dropped 90mm! i thought it'd be on the deck but no:I but when i park it next to a standard sporting it's like night and day! tell you what tho,it handles like a mini!i've overtaken some fast cars on roundabouts coz they dont handle at all! one of the pics is one of my new dials in silver! thought it'd be a bit different? cheers to brickfoot! totally appreciate your help
