Hi I have an L reg cinq thats been modified form its 998 beginings to Sporting spec . However I need to now fit a new fuel tank and have found out the eary ones are different to the later sporting ones in that the filler in the tank is in a different place . Can the later ones be made to fit any tips for doing this , or are the early ones still available . thanks

All i know is the spring tank has a long tube to connect it to the filler. So it 'might' be possible to connect it up with some custom pipe? The actual steel pipe from the tank is horizontal on the sporting. Then there is a breather pipe too.

Maybe someone knows more?
