looking into it a little more im thinking what does it do better than the det3, the emu is nearly £800 from the uk supplier and for that money theres emerald just up the road from me
EMU has hardly any limits (at least for a 4 cylinder engine), DET, when run in fuel implant mode (what you probably want in the end anyhow) has certain number of inputs and outputs limitations. You would have to read the doc to see what it is, I do not remember (something like not being able to have map switch, half-sequential injection, and EBC options all at the same time). Read the manual through. DET is certainly easier to set up (looming wise and mapping wise).
But, I am only reporting what I read elsewhere (both DET and EMU are very popular on PL speaking forums as you can imagine, but it is not my kind of thing really).
