Well what's happend is I was putting a seat back in and I fell over with the chair in my hand as I entered the car as I landed I heard this snapping noise I notice the chair was leanin on the gearstick so I moved the chair and the gear leever was over to one side and it just wobbled around I removed the gaiter and on the left hand side of the stick the rod popped out on the stick side the clip and everything is still there I've tried popping it back in but it just comes out again hope there is a quick fix rather than buying a full new gear linkage system. Thanks hope somebody can help

A picture may help buddy... but it sounds like it may be time to find another selector box
