i have never run an 899 before so we will find out!

if i keep it i might put a set of winters on

i think it needs some 'powered by fairydust' decals too

you know i think you might be right...

a friend was scrapping her identical car at the weekend so was able to swap tailgate, left rear light cluster and (colour coded) wing mirrors

Kermit now looking tidy

will give him a wash and take some pics at the weekend

getting quite attached to this crazy little motor in December he will be getting an MOT

its a slippery slope mate... especially when its been a while, you forget how fun they are.

looking to tidy up the wheel trims, anyone tried painting them?

would rather keep steelies than fit alloys, might just get a tidy steel silver set of steelies and leave off the hubcaps

i would clean up the wheels and paint them black myself - i hate wheel trims, and silver steelies lol.

i hate wheeltrims too, but i think black steels will not match the awesome radioactive green!

i like black wheels, and just dark wheels in general.. Black wheels match everything, apart from possibly black lol.

Anyhow, i would paint them white if not black, anything but silver basically haha

MPI Sporting

don't know what your sticking your tongue at, to me to older ones look better, yet another reason i prefer spi over mpi so :nerner:

had a fun time in 'Kermit' in the Peak District, white knuckle ride on Snake Pass!
eventually got round to digging out the pics
since the event I have done a bit of fettling and swapped some damaged panels over and added awesome colour coded mirrors!

using occasionally as a commuter car and for transporting parts and tools,

next step is take for MOT

freshly MOTd just needed an exhaust £30 a headlight £25 and some seals £10

using 'Kermit' as a drive to work car so he gets used 2-3 times a week
