Theres a red cento sporting red rag top roof he is thinki g of breaking it cos he cant get a clutch linkage 52 plate he zaid fiat no longer make them and no one makes euro part type is this the same for cinq sportings aswell its a shame to break a car for a poxy linkage

He is talking through his back bottom, I think, but I'd need to know what he means by "clutch linkeage".

Sometimes the welds on the passenger end of the clutch cross over lever break (always a sign of massive previous misuse). But any fool can weld them back up (and many have). Everything else -- and I mean everything -- is sitting on a shelf in Big Mick's.

This fella he may even be on here red scenteo sporting shumacker 2002 said he is breaking cant find or there no longer for sale clutch linkage just thought its a shame to break a car for something so small

If you've the loot, just buy it!

Some FIAT dealers are pretty hopeless at getting parts for older cars, but most stuff is out there (tell him to try eurocarcare.net (Big Mick, aka Fluffy the Impaler), Shop4Parts, or our Polski mates at Unto.pl).

The car was in production till 2006 (as the 600), so almost everything can be had. And then, the scrappers still sell bits..........

I've broke both linkages before, thread snapped off the ball joint of the pedal one. And snapped the bar in 2 soon after... suspect that driving on a failed gearbox mount meant every gear change was picking up the gearbox rather than moving the clutch fully, excess strain= bang.

They are easy to get hold of second hand and are rare to break, so second hand is fine.
