I'm driving a 2003 seicento mia (not a sporting) and its running on standard 13inch steelies. I want it considerably lower and will be replacing shocks anyway.

So with this setup would it be possible to use 60mm springs or would the car sit too low? as long as it can get over speed bumps i don't mind :D

unfortunately i work in a park and as you can imagine the roads are terrible and the speed bumps are massive.

Lowered mine 50-60mm, I can still go full speed over our Belgian speed bumps. Don't know about UK bumps to.

I used cheap TA technix coilovers, they say 40mm rear but it definitely somewhere between 50-60. Still very comfy and decent ride. I would even liked if they were a tad harder.

Deffinatly 50mm on the rear, had 50 springs in before and there was no change with the TA rears ( they didn't seem to drop as they settled in on my car though  )
I have to agree that the fronts need stronger damping, but considering what iv'e put mine through, its safe to say there well built (y)
