Hi everyone
Has anybody converted the existing Sei handbrake lever to a "fly off"
I've done minis, escorts and a couple of peugeots but never a fiat
Thanks

Hi Rh
Thanks for that, looks straight forward, I'll give it a go
Are you using your car for auto testing?
If so what tyres are you using?
I've got Nanking 165/55 13's on alloys on but I'm not sure they're going to work too well as there might be too much grip Also on production car trials I suspect thinner tyres on steels might be better
My first event in it is a trial in 2 weeks so I suppose I'll find out before 10:30 that morning if they're any good! Then 2 weeks after that a multi venue auto test - Tarmac in the morning and grass in the afternoon so handbrake needs doing by then

I've not done an autotest yet only Autosolos and I haven't had a need to modify the handbrake really, until last weekend both arms were seized and I didn't use it at all anyway.

As for tyres I'm using the half perished and bald selection of Pirelli p6000s and Goodyears, all in 175/50/14. They were what the car came with but now they're pretty much ruined I'm looking at going to 13s as theres more choice and most of the choices are cheaper. Ideally either 175/50/13s yoko a539s if I have the cash or a full set of budget 165/55/13s if not. I'm more interested in economy than performance, I'm not really taking it seriously enough to justify spending much on tyres if I can avoid it.

My vote would be for Maxxis MAZ1 175/50 13
