Is it just me having problems finding an 866 cam a hour or so on the net and not a single one.

They come up from time to time.

You might try looking at Mk1 Puntos in scrappies.

Been round all my local scrappys to no avail, does anyone here on ff have one they would sell?

As above you're best off looking for MK1 Punto's breaking in scrappies or online. If the cam is being advertised on it's own it will probably be by someone who knows what it is, therefore want more money than someone who doesn't.

Do all mk1 p75s have this cam? Also is it only the mk1?

All P75's have an 866 and some later P60's, just in the MK1 Punto. The 75 engine was only fitted in the 5 door model.

I retract the comment, not sure where I got that from... Might be an SX or ELX thing...

Although I've never seen a 3 door one Google says they exist but I'm thinking the 5 door 75's are more common.

Oh yes, 75 ELX 5 door is unquestionably the most common 75 out there - but mk1's in general are getting pretty rare so its no wonder that 75 parts are getting hard to find as they are no doubt the rarest of the mk1 punto's.

still not got around to fitting mine in the p60 schewey afer 2 years . it flew in the 1108 . how much are they worth now then ? cause the telys on the blink :bang:

as much as someones willing to pay... ive seen them go for between 50 and 70 of the queens golden coins i tried selling one recently for 70 posted and no takers

yeah they are pretty rare, that takes the **** a bit - i hope no-one buys that. I have seen entire punto75's with MOT left on them go for that.

I'd prefer to spend the extra and get a C&B cam over spending that much on a 866!!

i always forget about swiatec - its even more mental to pay so much for a 866 when you remember swiatec lol. I not even joking when i say i was looking at a P75 5 door the other day that was up for £150 - had a couple of months MOT left and no tax but you can't transfer tax now so that doesn't matter. Its not advertised anymore though so i guess they either sold it or scrapped it.
