Hi there,
I'm sure I've said before I'm a member of Owen motoring club who organise all types of Motorsport, but I love trials and auto tests
They are doing a great auto test on 19th October at 2 great venues on the same day- Curborough and Catton Park
You don't need a competition licence, just be a member of the club and cinquecentos and seicentos would be great fun at this type of event
If anybody wants to have a go its a really cheap day out and I'd love to have somebody else doing it in the same type of car
Go on - have a go and a great laugh - and it's non damaging, what can possibly go wrong!

Sounds like fun, do i have to join the club? or can i turn up on the day and pay.

Must sort my handbrake before then too ;)

hi Lee
i think you have to join the club but its only £16 for the year
if you have a look on owen motoring clubs website all should be revealed
i normally join the club holding the event to help support the cause
ive just joined wolverhampton and south staffs car club this week to do their Gaby Mohr memorial trial - another fun event which should be right up the seicento's strada, and you can join the club for 1 day if you want for a quid! And the event is only £20 - where else can you get a full days fun for anything like that these days?hope you can come along

oh and regarding the handbrake, there will be a couple of handbrake turns and its handy anyway if you start to get out of shape
i was thinking of fitting a hydraulic handbrake but after stripping it and getting it sorted last week i'm really pleased with it - locks up easily on tarmac
