Hi folks

Been doin some reading on the forum and keep seeing an 866 cam been mentioned. What sort of gains can be expected? also which punto is it taken from and what other parts are needed? Lastly how do i go about installing it?

P75 and some P60s (seems they were using up old stock).

Not a lot, but still a worthwhile mod. You'll need a rocker cover gasket, a crank oil seal, and to check the valve clearances, possibly a few new shims, and to re-do the timing.

Ok great stuff just one last thing. How do i identify it to be an 866 cam if i find a p75 in a scrappy?

Ahh great stuff thanks for the help folks. Now the foraging begins.

Just thought i would ask. Does anyone have an 866 for sale? Id rather put money in a ff members pocket than a scrappy.

It will say 866 between two lobes:
