Connected everything up, all sensors are attached!

Tried starting her up and she's ticking over but no fuel seems to get up to the injectors at all!

The fuel bleed valve on the injector rail has been tried but again nothing!

Tanks registering the fuel but no pressure?

Is there something I'm over looking?

Cheers

HI fingers,

cant hear the pump priming at all!

im not that familiar with the fuel cut off switch? wheres that located!

i was thinking maybe an earth somewhere?
or fuel pump issues?

cheers

ive reset the fuel cut off switch and now the pump im pumping fuel can hear it,

and also tested the fuel rail by pressing the bleed nipple and it nearly blew my head off haha!

the battery light is flashing now haha!
looks like im in need of a new one as this one has been sitting in the garage doing nothing for the past 4 months!

cheers

It's been in charge all day and only putting out just over 3volts!

That will barely start my RC car lol

She's not sparking at all!

We've got the fuel pump primed then It seems to cut out after a few seconds,
I'm not sure if a immobiliser or a relay has blown?

But fuel is at the bleed value on the fuel rail!

The car turns over but doesn't seem to fire at all!

If no spark and no fuel past the injectors (dry plugs, not petrol smelly wet ones), TDC sensor 98% probablity.

As long as the fuel pump is working, you'll still have pressure in the fuel rail, but the injectors won't be opening (or the plugs firing) if the TDC sensor (aka Crank sensor) is flooked. ECU thinks (something like) -- no signal from crank sensor = engine isn't turning, so no need for spark or fuel in the cylinders.

Cheers fingers!

Initially I thought this but then was like no way it worked before!

Is there anyway of testing this with a multimeter

Would just okie to test the crank sensor first if possible in order to make sure it's not a new ECU or imboliser problem!

I think there are some crank sensor tests in the Technical Manual.

Young Rallycinq posted up 575 - 750 ohms between terminals 2 and 3 of the TDC sensor.

But they're fiendishly touchy things!

If immob it should display a CODE symbol (can never remember which it kills, spark or fuel), maybe a lock icon on MPI cars?

Can't see it being the ECU.

Thank you very much for the help fingers!

Tested it and the ohms reading I got was way out, so stripped the crank sensor and it was barely held together and the two metal prongs each side connecting to the magnet wasn't even solid it was like it was flapping around inside!

Replaced with a genuine magnetti marelli crank sensor and bobs your uncle fired up 1st time to questions asked!

NEXT on my list is to find a 4-2-1 manifold to fit the P60

Cheers

Just been to pick the full polycarb window set up courtesy of a family friend from ACW Motorsport plastics.

Extremely we'll made up cut with diamond tools and impeccably sanded!

Seen some right poor jobs from the leading manufactures but this is top notch fair play!

Also managed to pick a sparco Evo bucket seat up with aluminium mounts for. 100 notes!

So that's us for the next few days fitting these bad boys!
Will also try to do a weight comparison!

Yeah I've taken a back seat at the moment got a cooling system issue. I'm also not gonna get rid of the shell, but thinking about putting a 1100 GSXR motorbike engine in the back now, as we only had a P60.

Can't rock up to a track day with max BHP with something of around 75-80bhp! Lol
