Hi I have a 1998 seicento, immobiliser has engaged and I need to find an "OBD" unit on my car. The chip in the immobiliser is for a newer car.


Can anyone help me.

1998 is likely to be SPI. See here.

So the only thing that's going to read it is IAW Scan 2. The good news is, it's free (find it on Sourceforge). The bad news is that it needs Windows, a lap top, and leads.

It should have the later kind of immobiliser on it.

But why not just tell us what's wrong? Not sure why you connect the OBD and the immob? etc.
