Hello again guys,i have read many threads about Seicento Induction Kits and almost everyone talks about the "Focus Kit".

My Seicento is MPI.

I found out two induction kits.The First one is for Ford Focus 1.4 MKI and the other one is for Punto 1.2 8V MKII(which uses the same TB as my Sei MPI)

Which one is the right one? 1 or 2 below???

My best guess is that either will do, but the Punto II one is going to be the safest buy.

the 2nd one, the 1st one won't fit.

The 1st one dony fit as i found out last night but after some mods its now on.

Ahh, that one'll fit the SPI throttle body.

Needless to say im a bit gutted about it as i had to hack up the alloy tube and cant us it

Which induction kit is this?It's not for Punto MKII 1.2 8V/Seicento MPI.

Your induction kit if for SPI i think.

you can get the focus style for both, only difference is the elbow piece that goes on the TB.

The ebay ad for the one that says punto on it says its for mk2 1999-2003 models of 1.2 8v punto's and that would be mpi ones not spi ones

My seicento is MPI and i have ordered the Punto MKII 1.2 8V,so i guess this is the right one as both Punto 1.2 8V MKII and Seicento MPI use exactly the same TB.

should be, its the same engine basically, just a shorter block at end of the day

So that's why people are confused... a 'focus style' induction kit, but not necessarily designed for the focus.
Wasn't the Mk1 Focus a MPI?? - but the opening on the Focus TB is absolutely HUGE so I guess Eclipse was right in saying it will fit the SPI.

My chopped up spi kit. The piping in the pic is the waste, the tube is too long and my abs res gets in the way.

Also the bonnet wouldnt close over the pod filter

Still, should be possible to put extra bends in there.
