You'll probably need spacers. They'll be horrible with high profile tyres like the 60s (may scrub, too).

I'm pretty sure you'll need to remove the wheelarches liners and even then 185/60/14s will likely rub or simply not fit. I've got a set in my garage sat next to an abarth 14" wheel and they are considerably larger.

Still, if you bin the tyres, chances are they'll take 185/50/14.

I ran 185/60 14's for a while on an unmodified Sei, rubbed a lot and made the car feel very tall.

Just stick with 13s :slayer:

Too slow, too expensive, too high maintenance (we know of at least one bike engined car that now has the VAG turbo set up), no bottom end.

Engine and box out of a Cayman might be amusing, but the MR2 turbo lump would be cheaper.

No it wouldn't.

a. It's a Nova
b. The c20 is a nice engine, but it's no better than an ecotec unless you want 250+ bhp
c. If you want 250+ bhp it gets expensive, very fast
d. Carbs are so 20C.

Na all small hatches are cool for one Renault 5 toyota starlet mk2fez old golf etc etc the best looking has to b a nova there just so cool and pop there tits off just with stock engine

I find with carbs to you have a quicker throttle response I mean they still use em on bikes they do 160mph+ It's like everything's changed manufactures making cars more for road driving 'not race car driving witch we all do wen the police aren't looking' catalatic converters rev limiters your car just feels restricted by David (the dickhead) camron

I have only been on this earth 22 years and Iknow tbs are good I just like carbs but I'm kinda bike man rather than car 2strokes ftw best fun of ur life

Wheelspin is fine -- it's when it turns into 3rd gear exit from roundabouts torque steer in the wet and Mr Quaiffe wants £600 + fitting to cure it that it gets problematic!

humble 1.1 8v turbo is still my favourite cento so far - i swear its a better engine that the 1242 with 16v pistons whacked in.

i really fancy building a turbo around the old panda 999cc engine with mpi top end strapped to it. Oversquare turbo engined cento anyone? YES PLEASE!

Better the 16v 999 ethanol burner, though.

i'd need a passport first haha. I was thinking more P75 head with some mad cam, custom inlet mani and plenum, bigger injectors and full aftermarket ecu along with balanced crank with forged rods and pistons.
