Had everything changed apart from coil pack looks to be fine and clean ecu conectors are ok just sometimes rev goes up and down by itself but not voilently but can feel car jerk because of it if in 2nd below 20mph any idears? I dont have a code reader ether
 
There's bugger all to it. 2 connectors, 3 fasteners, disconnect throttle cable.

Seicento Technical Manual is in the Downloads section, in 3 parts. Dowload the lot, pop in the same directory, use an unrar programme from sourceforge to open.

Don't mess with the throttle stop.

So i cleened everything including inlet blasted the lot with brake cleaner seemed to tick over fine took it out and it ' acted up once' seems to have better throttle responce the sensor and butterfly were quite black but i fear i havnt fixed problame anything else it could be? The emissions light came on just before i cleened throttle body but has now wen off
 
You might need to give it another go. The guy next door pops the whole thing in an ultrasonic bath full of carb cleaner, but that's pretty extreme. .

Could be worthwhile seeing what the code was.

Yeah maybe were could i get a code reader
or how would i obtain code or maybe everything needs a bath in brake cleaner or if we lived in america the cleaning stuff would work and not have to meet daft eu emissions regulations #born free taxed to death

Assuming MPI, lots of cheap code readers on eBay.

If you lived in America, you might have to meet Californian emissions regulations, which are much stricter.

Anyway, I doubt that FIAT would make a dirty model especially for the UK, even if Farange invited all the executives to his bunga bunga parties.........

Yeah its mpi and if i lived in america id have a weed card and my sei never let me down realy i just look for faults i think on the other hand will the codes be wiped because i disconected battry when i done throttle body
 
Time for an ECU reset ?

Haynes manual Ch4 P7/8 :

1) Start engine & leave to run until the cooling fan cuts in for the 2nd time .
2) Switch off & disconnect battery earth .
3) Leave for approx 45 seconds , then re-fit battery terminal . (this will reset ECU memory)
4) Immediately restart the engine and leave to idle for approx 2 minutes .
5) If the engine stalls during this time , disconnect earth again & return to step 4 .

Repeat as required until the engine will run for at least 2 mins without stalling - ECU will still need a few miles in order to "learn" the optimum settings .
