I converted my Seicento to an 1.2 MPI of an Punto 75.
I've done it before with my old Cinq so did everything the same way.

Last week I went for MOT and the emissions were way to high.
The MOT guy said the lambda is not managing the engine.
You don't see the emission values change when reving the engine.

So my guess was a faulty lambda.
but I checked with IAW scan and I see the lambda change from open to closed loop.
Als i see it managing the engine once it is in open loop mode.

The valves seem to close ok as I have no power loss.

What else could cause this problem?
Need to get it on the road.

What print out?
They just stick a pipe in the exhaust that collects the fumes and messures them., no print what so ever.
The the value he was talking about may be 0.5 at max.
The car runs around 5.5.

Doesn't mean anything. You need to know the CO and hydrocarbons (CO2 can be handy, too) to diagnose anything. And then, I've no idea what the standards are in the Netherlands.

As a very rough guide my MR2 Turbo had CO 0.00; Hydrocarbons 40. Pass values (remember. it's a 1991 car) are <3.50 and <1200 respectively.

Any hole in the exhaust, missing CAT, misfire is likely to cause a fail.

Went back today after some hard driving.
Also fixed a diagnostics cable with IAW Scan.
When the car was idle it did not manage the engine at all.
Causing high co2 output.

So I cleand the lambda but that didn't work.
Cut another on up to be able to connect it.
This one works like a charm and the values are MOT worthy.

Got my MOT now.
