Not really a lot to say -- the clutch is fubar -- replace it. 3 hours DIY, £110 plus parts at a clutch specialist. Such is life.

Looks worn down as well as being broken.
I realised that the moment it wouldn't go in gear! £110+?!!! Who do you think I am, Rockafella? Like I said, £53.40 and I did it myself.

Yeah, it was on its last legs as far as the friction plate was concerned. It wasn't slipping though.
