Does anyone on here know the resistance of the air bag in a 2002 seicento sporting? I'm changing the steering wheel to an OMP one with an OMP boss kit but I don't want the warning light on all the time.
I'm scared to measure it incase the very small current in the multimeter blows the bag. Or shall I just go for it and hope it doesn't?

No idea for a Sei but it's usually 2-5ohms. An alternative would be to fit a 10 turn pot to the car side wiring (airbag removed) and keep reducing it's resistance until the airbag light goes out after a reset (if you have the equipment to reset it).

I certainly wouldn't measure across the airbag with a standard multimeter...

Thanks! Yeah I got access to a diagnostic kit to reset it. I'll see if I can get hold of one of those adjustable resistors that you mentioned

can you not just remove the bulb, would that not be the least faff???
