Have had my sei sporting spi since September and have asked for plenty of help with it so figure it was time to share it with you.
Brought for £150 with full service history. 106,000 miles. Handbrake not working due to pin missing, oil leak from rocker cover and knocking from rear.
Have replace rocker cover gasket, brakes all round, bushes in rear arms, lowered 35mm, induction kit fitted, cut out centre silencer, 500 abarth exhaust tip, dewipered rear and removed Orange side stickers and sprayed front/rear tongues black.
This is the end result.

nice looking sei (y) i have always fancied one in that colour actually.

Clear/smoked front indicators and side repeaters would look decent i think as you removed all the rest of the orange bits. Perhaps a slight tint on rear lenses too - not really dark though!!

Thank you, picked it up for £150 in September was so chuffed to turn up and it not be yellow lol

Was looking for some clear indicators but all the ones I found are for the mk2 which iirc are different shape.
Not sure on doing the rear lenses but might change my mind if I get round to smoking the windows

trick to tinting rear lenses is to apply in very light coats - go a bit darker than you want and then t-cut them back. Tint spray is a horrid matte finish until you cut it back a bit.

Clear lenses are pretty easy to find, but you are right that you can't just fit clears ones from a later mpi.
these are cheapest i can find on ebay at mo that are right shape ;)

The smoked ones do look good, might have to treat myself and then spray inside the headlights as well.
Any tips on induction? K&N fitted but the spi engines are sooo noisey!

Anything but a K&N. On the SPI cars it's easy enough to DIY one with an 899 bob as base.

Have got a 899 Bob as a base then a bit of pipe that has a 90° bend then the filter on the end by the fan. Just didn't know if I could get a bit more induction noise and gain
