His bit lost, firstly on p85 engine is it the alternator the main positive connection and secondly on the p85 loom there is a block beside the d4 connection what does this connect to
?

That's the one only my p85 loom came without one :( the connection on the cinq loom is different can it be used? Or one from another fiat? P85 pretty hard to find here

i was told when i did my 16v conversion i had to use the 16v twin relay. But they are the same as far as i can tell, even the little circuit diagram on side is the same - and i can confirm my car at least idles fine with either fitted - but as my old 1108 8v relay had a crack in the plastic i threw it away and used the punto one.

So although i haven't actually tried driving with the cento one i would put money on it being exactly the same part and will work fine.

Ok so with everything connected in not getting fuel :(

Going to state something obvious... but i find it's always the obvious things i miss because i'm concentrating too much on details :p So might come in handy to retrace steps if Blu's suggestion doesn't start to help

Guessing you've more than likely swapped the fuel pump over for the conversion? is it known good? Has it been plugged in? all pipework joined up? Have you swapped over the code box? If so, re-check the wiring connections are as per the guide :)

Code light is staying on, brava 16v fuel pump fitted wiring is as follows:
cinq red (small) to punto blue
cinq grey/yellow to punto grey/yellow
cinq orange to punto orange
cinq orange/green to punto brown/white
cinq black/purple to punto black/purple
cinq grey/red to punto black/blue
cinq grey/green to punto grey white
red/black to battery

Does this look right?

if you forgot the bundle of earths as ming mentions it probably won't even turn over - i forgot that one when doing mine and pretty sure my code system worked at that point.

If the Code light is on though, you get no fuel or spark, thats how the immobilser works on these. So are you sure you got matching key and codebox for the ecu? In mine i put the new codebox on and then just taped the new key to the antenna and stuffed that up behind the dash away from the ignition so it didn't pickup the old key.

Ok so everything checked still no joy, Im using p85 code box but cinq antenna, I do not have the p85 antenna :(

Antenna code box ecu are all from the same car, antenna and p85 key are taped together and down below the ash tray... On the loom coming from the ecu next to the ecu earth there is a connector with 3 wires anybody no what this should be connected to?
