Hi can anyone advise me have a 2000y seicento with electric head light motors just failed mot one to high one to low had this the other year can i change head lights for 899cc manual ones or is it loads of grief just want to get away from the electric adjustment

Electric adjustment isn't part of the MOT.
As long as the level is correct, it will pass. Adjusters on the headlight to set to the correct level.

i would also say the headlights are same - the adjuster part twists out and you can fit an electric one or a manual one. All adjusters are the same fitment whether its for a cinq or sei.

Normally an MOT tester will just align the headlights with the adjusters during the test, takes few seconds each side. So have they failed it cause the adjusters don't work or just cause they were out  If they haven't stipulated then go back and ask for clarification.

And welcome to FF

yes and that ^^

which means new headlight, or one from scrappies - just make sure its not floppy one as well if you get one from scrappies.
Thank you for all you help from all who posted .
